Just me. Not an agency.
No account managers, no handoffs, no jargon. Ten years inside trades, security, and service businesses before I built a website. If you don't make your investment back within 12 months, I'll refund half of it.
By the numbers
Why KGStudio exists
I moved to Plymouth six years ago and, as a favour, built a website for a friend who ran a commercial cleaning business. Before that, he'd relied entirely on word of mouth. Afterwards, he was getting 8 to 16 leads a month, every month, and his revenue grew by around £100,000. It helped him get out of debt. It genuinely changed his situation.
Seeing what that did for him was the moment I realised I wanted to do this for other people too. Around that time I was talking to personal trainers who told me how hard it was to find clients through Facebook groups, and how much they wished people could simply find them and learn more about what they did.
So I built a few more sites. Those clients came back and told me how much it had changed their business, sometimes their life. That was a humbling thing to hear, and it's the reason KGStudio exists today.
Our philosophy
Three things I won't compromise on, whatever the project.
Honesty
If something isn't working for your business, I'll tell you. I'm not going to sugarcoat a bad result to keep you comfortable.
Transparency
If there's something I can't do, I say so. You'll always know what things cost and what you need to be willing to invest before we start.
Creativity
Across design and strategy. Every business earns its site differently, so the thinking behind it has to be original, not templated.
Underneath all three, I believe in long-term relationships over one-off projects. I'd rather build something that keeps working for you for years than something that just looks good on launch day.

Meet the founder
Before KGStudio, I spent ten years working inside warehouses, security companies, trades, and removals firms. I'm not a designer who studied your industry from the outside. I've worked inside it.
Independently of KGStudio, I spent 12 months as the web designer for a printing company with contracts across several universities. Their website existed, but it was broken and couldn't take orders. It brought in around £2,000 a year when I started. By the time I left, it was bringing in roughly £220,000 a year, about £80,000 profit once costs were accounted for.
I do every strategy call, every review, and every adjustment myself. No account managers, no handoffs. If you need me, you get me, and your success is genuinely how I measure mine.
Who we work with
Being honest about fit saves us both time.
A good fit
- Established service businesses turning over £60,000 or more a year
- Trades, cleaning, security, coaching, and local practice businesses
- Owners who've been burned by a cheap build before and want it done properly this time
- Businesses who think in terms of return on investment, not just how the site looks
Probably not, yet
- Very early-stage businesses with no trading history yet
- Anyone wanting the cheapest possible option over the right one
- Businesses who aren't willing to invest in marketing the site once it's live
What makes us different
Not just claims. Here's what actually happens differently when you work with me.
Founder-led, always
Every strategy call, every build, every adjustment goes through me personally. Not an account manager, not a junior, me.
Strategy before design
Before a single pixel gets designed, I understand your ideal customer, your goals, and which of your services are actually most profitable. A high-ticket offer needs a different approach to a low-friction one, so the strategy comes first.
Real research, not guesswork
Client research, competitor research, and keyword research, so the site is built around what real people actually search for, not assumptions.
Branding included when you need it
If your brand isn't pulling its weight, I can build that out alongside the website rather than working around it.
If you haven't made your investment back within 12 months, I'll refund 50%.
You'll need to show you've been marketing the site and driving reasonable traffic to it over that period. The guarantee covers my work, not a site nobody sees.
Our process
Strategy first, build second. Here's the order it happens in.
- 01
Understand your business
Who your best customer is, what you actually want more of, and which services make you the most money. That shapes everything that follows.
- 02
Research
Client research, competitor research, and keyword research, so I know what your buyers are actually searching for before I design anything.
- 03
Build
Design, copy, and development, with branding folded in if you need it. Built around the strategy, not a template.
- 04
Launch & support
Your site goes live, then hosting, care, and growth services like SEO or ads are there when you want to build on it.
Questions, answered
Still not sure? Book a call and I'll answer it straight.
Why did you get into this?
I moved to Plymouth six years ago and built a website for a friend's commercial cleaning business as a favour. It took him from word of mouth to 8 to 16 leads a month, every month, and added around £100,000 to his revenue. Seeing what that did for his business is the whole reason KGStudio exists.
Will I actually work with you, or does someone else handle my project?
Me. Every strategy call, every design decision, every build, every adjustment. There's no account manager to hand you off to.
What happens after the build? Can I make changes?
Yes. You can look after small changes yourself, or take a Website Management plan and I'll handle updates, security, and backups for you.
Do you host and maintain the site?
Yes, if you want that handled. Website Management plans start from £50/month and cover backups, security updates, and monitoring.
Do I own the website?
Yes, fully, once the project is paid up. No lock-in, and I never hold a website hostage.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. I ask for 50% to begin any project, with the balance due before the site goes live. On a £1,500 project, for example, that's £750 to start.
What's the guarantee?
If you haven't made your investment back within 12 months, I'll refund 50%. You'll need to show you've been marketing the site and driving reasonable traffic to it over that period, since the guarantee covers my work, not a site nobody sees.
Let's see if I'm the right fit for your business.
