The Brief:

Titan HQ contacted us with a vision in mind. They wanted a simple one-page website that reflects what the gym stands for and incorporates their brands’ colours into it. After speaking with the team we understood that the business had a few goals in mind with their website but the biggest objective was drawing in potential customers within the local area.

After speaking with the team we understood that the business had a few goals in mind with their website but the biggest objective was drawing in potential customers within the local area.

The Solution:

After some research, we found that Titan HQ was one of 4 MMA gyms within their area. Two of which had websites, customer reviews and such that made their business stand out in comparison. We started by researching keywords for the MMA & fitness niche. Finding out what people are searching for helps in boosting the sites rankings and getting more eyes on their site. We used Titan HQ’s colour scheme in a way that best showcases it, gold is often the focal point on the site and areas with more writing are saved for the blue elements. The font chosen is called Geomanist, a strong looking font that is easy to read and demonstrates power, the perfect font for an MMA gym. As for the content, everything is broken down in simple terms, the visitor is already interested in joining an MMA club, why else would they be there? They just need a push to get them to sign up, that is why we decided to add two call to action elements, the first is requesting an email for a timetable as well as a free home workout sheet. This allows Titan HQ to send follow up emails that are designed to convert that person to a paying customer. The second is at the bottom of the site which once again prompts the visitor to interact with Titan HQ by asking them a question. This will once again allow the Titan HQ team to send follow up emails and converting the visitor. The section before the contact area highlights all the benefits of MMA helping Titan HQ sell why they need to join their gym.

By offering a brief description of all the Martial Arts Titan HQ offer, the visitor understands the services provided as well as learning a little about the actual martial art itself. This is a subtle way of getting a visitor interested in joining this gym by providing them with just enough information to pique their interest. We also have to take into consideration that the visitor is already aware of MMA and all that it encompasses. So we don’t want to overwhelm a newbie or bore a more experienced visitor. Short and brief gets the point across.
All images used for Titan HQ were provided by an MMA photographer, whilst the images weren’t taken at Titan HQ all images were chosen specifically by our team to best showcase what service the gym offers as well as showcasing a professional environment that demands new members.
